Can I Set Up a Bounce House at a Public Park in Ohio?
Yes — but there are a few important things you need to know. At Confetti Event Rental, we help families, schools, and churches across Mahoning and Columbiana Counties host events in public parks all the time. Here’s how to make sure your bounce house park setup is safe and permitted.
1. Contact the Park First
Before booking, call your city or township’s parks department and ask if they allow inflatables. Some parks in Boardman, Canfield, and Salem allow them — others require advance notice or permits.
2. Ask About Electricity
Most parks don’t have power close to shelters. You’ll likely need to rent a generator. We offer generators that work with all our inflatables — just ask when booking!
3. Proof of Insurance
Many parks require a Certificate of Insurance (COI). We are fully insured and can provide documentation for your event upon request.
4. Plan Ahead
Park permits can take a few days to process. Plan at least 1–2 weeks in advance so everything is ready for your rental day.
